    The biosecurity people’s arguments are reminding me of Condaleeza Rice’s “We don’t want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud.” Frustrating because it’s not a totally invalid arguement but it too often keeps things from being fixed in the hopes of keeping things from getting worse.
